Vieceli Hospitality Ltd currently oversees the operations for six individual bar brands in the greater Christchurch area. Each bar operates as its own distinct unit under the umbrella of the parent company. 

We spoke with Administration Manager, Debby Rosevear about Viecelli’s decision to integrate HospoIQ into their diverse operational infrastructure. 
 

The challenge

“We wanted to have clearer and more concise reporting, especially on KPIs. Managers would be in touch with their numbers, and we needed meaningful breakdowns of these metrics. And we wanted it in a simple format, that they could easily digest.”

 

Debbie had tried other analytical tools to help her crunch the data and create reports, but they kept falling short in terms of key deliverables….

 

“Xero doesn’t always give us reports that we need. For example, the percentages that we want. Then we were using Futrli - it had potential, but it was challenging to deal with them, in Aussie, we wanted someone local.”

 

The solution

“The directors, GMs and myself, we actually met the HospoIQ guys face to face. We had a good convo, and they gave us a trial period.”

 

The team sat down for a one-on-one with the Vieceli team, and straight away they knew this was going to be a great fit.


With numbers coming in from six distinct operations, they needed a high level of customisation, and the HospoIQ team leapt at the challenge.

 

“They’re been so responsive with customisation. They had a look at what we had, went away and tweaked things. Then, they showed us through it, we were able to play with it, see if we liked it.”

So far, HospoIQ’s integration and customisation is on track, and the Viecelli team are on boarding easily and giving great feedback.
